This scenery is evergreen - A post for you who smiles to us from above :’)

(ps: I warn you, this is gonna be such an emotional post)

As I always said on my previous post, I’m such an active student in my college. I joined in several committees and now spending my whole time in students’ union. In fact, I wasn’t as active as I’m now in high school that’s why it’s still shocking me to work in group of a lot of people. Also that’s the major reason why I always prefer to join a committee of an internal events which usually has less members than other events.

So in March 2011 I encouraged myself to submit a registration form for an event called Sheila 2011.

Sheila was an annual event presented by junior year students to unions of students’ staffs in order to make them knowing each other and making good relationship. There was 4 students unions on that time; Union of Faculty of Electrical and Communication Engineering Students (Himatel, where I work on now), Union of Industrial Engineering Students (HMTI), Union of Faculty of Informatics Engineering Faculty Students (HMIF), and Union of Faculty of Science Engineering Students represented by colors: creme, maroon, dark blue, and green in logo.

Actually, I never thought I would be accepted in Sheila since I had been interviewed by craziest interviewers ever lol

I was accepted as secretary, a turn point for me since I always had been in Division of Publication, Decoration, and Documentation before due to my photoshop and photography skills *showing off lol* So it was a really big challenge for a newcomer like me and yes, that was so hard to do since I’m such a careless girl.

And these are us on the D-1, shooting for our introduction video which would be showed to the Unions’ staffs.

There were a lot of obstacles in order to held this event since it was so internal, it’s hard to find a sponsor. “Uang itu sensitif!!” (english: Money is sensitive thing!!) was our unofficial tagline that time lol.

And yes, I hadn’t worn hijab that time ppl!

But because there’s nothing can stop us, the event was finally held on March 15, 2011 in a very shiny morning :D

Sheila was a full day event and it was started with a cooking competition and various silly games. We got so panic when there was giant of flames coming out from one of the stoves lol

On the evening, we had decorated kites competition. Each of unions had been told before the D day to buy and decorate a kite so it would represent them and Sheila. Unfortunately, the weather was not friendly that time so there were only few people come to hand their kites to us. But since they were so curious if their kites could fly up or not, once the rain stopped, they started to play. Just look how cloudy it was! *A*

Then the major event came. On night, we had dinner together and watch performances by each of Unions. It was so laughable tbh. Each of performances was so funny and silly.

Again, that day was one of my exciting days that passed so rapidly. In few months after the event, we had accountability reports to all unions that was also a sign this committee had been already over :(

We always tried to gather again after that but not all the staffs could come even in our official photoshoot. The communication between the staffs was also disappearing as the time flew.

But everything was changed after a sudden news came up.

In the middle of the night, there was a rumor that a student committing suicide in her dorm room.

At first, I wasn’t interested in but after I knew who she was I couldn’t help but tearing up.

Stuck with business, aging, and little bit of fan-ranting

Finally, I have a little time and mood to write here. ‘Business’ on this post’s title is not the one which earn money but really the busy-ness.

Not only in study, I’m also busy with several stuffs like organization and training. That’s why my Tumblrs are so dusty now *blows the dust away lol*

But surprisingly, though I’m so tired with those kind of stuffs —wake up in the morning for college, go home late for set several things up, doing tasks in free time, stay all night long to get myself entertained, sleep late and wake early again—, I feel like enjoying it. Once I get a real free time, I always use it to sleep. Sleep is so valuable for me now =___=”

Yes, somehow I enjoy it. Like, today, my training has finished but I applied to a lab for assistant position so I can keep busy. I wonder “do I really a workaholic?”

I wasn’t such an active student when I was in high or middle school tbh but somehow I turn to be like one now. But I feel so guilty seeing my left blogs and I was like “I need to tidy things up” and decided to deactivate one of them.

My brain works in boring way now. I turn to be more sensitive and thoughtful than ever and keep thinking about how my future would be wtf. I also back into Japanese music from Kpop. Kpop is too much for me now. The only reason I like was TVXQ and since I always prefer their Japanese releases so~ yeah lol. I also prefer emotional songs and energetic ones like AKB48’s now. Just another stage of my changing, I thought

Then I read Aud’s post about adult/old thing and then I was like “wtf some of these are me!”

Everyone always say that I look waaaay older than my elder sister and now I found out I’m older than her too in my heart OTL

Okay, stop talking about my aging! lol

Now, I’m gonna talk about the man who never aging who is, HYDE!

He never looks aging for me.. well, a bit, but it makes him look cooler *A*

I want to talk about him and L’Arc~en~Ciel now because I hate them. I really hate them!!

Remember about the rumor that they would have a live in my country? It’s going to happen for real people!! I was so excited like hell until my parents yelled a big “NO” to me when I asked their permission. I cried a river ;~; Though, I understand why they said no: the concert will be on Thursday but on that day I have to spent like 12 hours in college so it’s impossible for me to leave Bandung to Jakarta.

I’m okay with it now though it still hurts to remember. But the scar got widen when I opened this website -> http://www.larc-en-ciel.com/worldtour2012/

I want to buy the premium package but the price is as same as the regular ticket wtf.

Then sales dept. of Sony Music Indonesia tweeted that they will release Butterfly Limited Edition in local price when I have bought the regular one!

This is such a conspiracy! Let’s see what I will buy for real ~ *sigh* still affording for premium package though

ps: I promise I will continue my Bali post tmrw

    Review : HYDE’s Roentgen (2002)

Another post about Hyde because I’m so bored lol.

This time I will review a solo album by him, called Roentgen.

Roentgen is Hyde’s first solo album in 2002 which shocked his fans since it has a very different color of music. You won’t find beats of drums or sound of electric guitar in this album, instead, you will find sound of saxophones, strings, acoustic guitar and slow tempo tunes. The sound in this album was as imaginary as the lyrics he wrote. The title of the album which means x-ray in English told us that this album consisted the portrait of Hyde’s thoughts.

For this album, Hyde dyed her hair into blonde and wore white clothes matching the peacefulness of its album tune. He even left his wife and went to London to produce this album.

This album was released in 4 versions:

    1. Regular version : consists of all 10 songs in Japanese
    2. Limited version : regular version with deluxe package
    3. English (Overseas) version : consists of all 10 songs in English
    4. Roentgen.english : consists 10 songs in English, special english ensemble songs which has released along with the singles (Evergreen, Shallow Sleep, and Angel’s Tale), and a DVD with PV of The Cape of Storms also audio of this song in Last Quarter Mix.

(Note: to write this review I’ll use the English ones to conclude the lyrics’ meaning because it’s hard to find proper translation to Japanese ones)

    A Story of Hyde

This time I will talk about Hyde, one of the most influential people in my life.

I think I should write about him here because so many people, especially my college friends, asking why I really love this guy. So I can answer them by giving a link to this post and it will rise my pageviews lol. No la, I’m kidding.

Hyde is not only influential in my life but also does in Japanese music scene. If you’re a Japanese music fan, you must be know him. If not, you’re not a really fan then lol

Hyde is well-known as the vocalist and main lyricist for the Japanese monster band, L’Arc~en~Ciel. He always hides his personal life, even there were no one know his real name, his birthday, or where he lives. That’s why, J-fans were shocked when he announced he would release an autobiography on 29th January this year.

So why does he become so influential?

Not only because he has existed in Japanese music scene more than 20 years, but the way he create his music always captivates people’s hearts. Written more than hundreds or maybe thousands —I’m too lazy to count them all— lyrics, he was crowned as one of most poetic Japanese lyricist. He doesn’t just talk about love but also friendship, life/death, nature, politics, or even faith in his music. He comes with a lot of ideas. Rock, punk, ballad, and jazz, he has done them all. His voice is also so strong and his falsetto is so omgasdfghjkl amazing!

Not only in music aspect, he also has interesting attitude and stories.

Born in Wakayama, on January 29th around 1969, he was the only child in his family while her mom was wanting to have a daughter so she dressed him as a girl. That’s why little Hyde was so sensitive and weak. But after his father sent him to learn martial art, he became more confident about himself and grew as a boy who always made other people laugh.

He loves art very much. At first, he tried to do breakdancing but then he decided to be a mangaka (person who draws comic). But many people around him were not sure that he would become a great mangaka and so was him due to his color-blindness. He didn’t stopped and continued study to become a mangaka. Just look how he sketched his band mates
